Can this be used as a zapper?

I posted this in the Zapper Forum , but only got "I don't know" and comedic responses. Can anyone help?

I have one of these:

that I bought a few months ago. I was wondering if it could be used as a Zapper?

Here are the specs:

Pulse Frequency: 30hz
Pulse Width: 260-micron seconds
Output Voltage: 380v p-p
Normal Output Voltage: 120v

I can't see why this won't work if just using a 9v battery and tapping can.

Thoughts? Questions? Comments?
