people i've met and including my mother in law who had it, had terrible problems from it. it scrapes your wall inside so you can't get pregnant. they bled a lot and had bad cramps, another lady i knew had to have surgery from it. but that is the copper iud, i don't know if they have a different one out now. all i know is i don't trust any iud now.
