Rap music? Ugh!

You mean rap songs like "Slap My Bitch Up" and "F*** tha Police"?

Sorry, can't go there.  Rap rhythmes with crap and rythming is about all those so-called songs do - that and promote violence, drug use and drug dealing, pimping and mistreatment of women.

I have listened to hours and hours of rap and hip hop - it came with the territory of doing volunteer work for a drug and alchohol rehabiliation program for young men for over a year.

When young men were about to relapse there was one sure sign - they started listening to more and more rap music again.  And when we went to do interventions or rescues in the inner city crack houses, low rent apartments and cheap motels, guess what music was ALWAYS playing?

It wasn't country and western.

Gangsta rappers and hip hop artists - now there are some good role models for you!
