Some health food stores carry it. It is also the source of silica in Solgar's Ocean Silica, and is used to make other silica products. You can open the silica capsules and add it to your water. Otherwise you have to go through raw material suppliers, but they require a 25kg minimum purchase. The best way I found to use it is to add a spoon full to a big jug of water and let it settle out. Drink the water above the sediment. As the water level goes down add more water and again let it settle out. Small amounts of silica will dissolve in to the water each time you add more water forming orthosilicic acid. That is what you drink. A spoon full of silica will last probably a couple of years depending on how much water you go through. The easiest way to tell it is working is to check the strength of your finger nails in about a week. They will get pretty strong showing you are absorbing the silica. Tweet
