Re: What about Ca and Mg
Silica does not "compromise" the kidneys. It strengthens them by increasing collagen and elastin in the blood vessel walls. If silica compromised the kidneys then we would have all been in trouble a long time ago considering the fact that we derive the majority of our silica from plant fibers!
Silica is also found in water sources such as river water, well water, and spring water. Makes we wonder how mankind survived so long drinking these waters before all of these new BS waters coming out now came along. Just a bunch of sales hype with scientific terms that I doubt if half the people selling the stuff understand. For instance clustered, catalyzed, ionic, oxygenated, microwater, etc. Just sales hype and sales tools. For example how many of these sales people tell the general public that water becomes ionic when it contacts the stomach acid? And that a lot of these small molecular sized waters are nothing more than highly purified waters, which is why they enter and leave the cells so quick? Simple laws of osmosis. Or that oxygen saturation is dependent on the temperature of the water? The warmer the water the less oxygen it will hold. This is why so many species of trout die in warm water. They suffocate in the warmer water due to the lower oxygen levels. Or that the so called
Alkaline Waters contain dangerous hydroxides, which is why they are alkaline in the first place? And most of the bottled water on the market is from tap water? The water market has attracted more con artists than just about any other market I can think of.
