Hi Sacristia,

I'm sorry to hear you're having such a hard time. I agree it isn't a good thing to come to this forum looking for support and find nothing but nasty posts and turmoil. Mouseclick has done his best to stop those kind of posts and even moved them to a debate forum or personal conflict forum. For me, I don't like all the arguing that goes on but it is sometimes hard not to comment myself when I see someone so obviously provoking and attacking another person.

I think if we all decided to not respond to those types of posts then those who are posting them would get the idea and back off, we keep them going by responding and I'm as guilty about that as anyone else. Hopefully that is the last conflict this forum will see.

You are not alone Sacristia, there are many people here who support you in your fast. Fasting does bring up emotional issues, that is just part of it, if that is what you are dealing with if you could get past today things might be better tomorrow. On the other hand if you feel like your body is telling you to break the fast then by all means break the fast.

I find that when I fast it really helps me to keep a journal of all my thoughts so that if I'm feeling emotional I can go back and see what I've written and it helps me to continue. Just a suggestion but it might also help you.

Just remember to think about why you wanted to fast in the first place and think about all the stuff that is coming out emotionally as a good thing, you are ridding your body of trash. Think positive thoughts, I know this is hard when you are feeling bad but it really does help. Tomorrow is another day just tell yourself it will be better, it really is a matter of mind over matter. I know that is easier said than done but it really does work.
