DAY 8...YES!..I Did It!..I have a question.

YES!!!!!!!!!!

I did it. I am officially on DAY 8 of my water fast. The longest I have ever gone on ANY fast! Happy happy joy joy. Thank you everyone for your encouragement and advice. I stayed away from Fridays, although I had to pass it once and that started me thinking. But honestly a BIG motivator was knowing that if I messed up, then I would have to come back to this board and say...OK not this time...and I DID NOT want that. But after meditating, I figured, I am tired of failing anyway and its 2 lousy days..if I get through this...who knows..maybe I can go longer...lol Why stop at 7 days? So friends, I am now shooting for an undetermined day figure. Realistically getting through Wednesday is DAY 10...but if I'm ok to go, I think I shall continue. The hardest part is the weekend, and I have conquered one..so

Symptoms... I sort of feel GREAT. I woke up at 6am...but I tossed and turned alot, and had trouble getting to sleep. (Well I've started another new habit. Its called turning off the t.v..so that could be why.) I walked this morning for 30, I still have that mucus thing in the back of my throat..ie..I am nauseous (sorry spelling) and feel like I want to vomit whatever it is out..all while feeling great. I think I recognize that my body is trying to expell something gross...but the rest of me feels fine. Not really hungry..the problem is mental. When you see the food, you conjure the taste in your brain, thus you want it because you remember what it tastes like, not so much out of hunger. Once I figured out that, it gets a little easier, but I am not over that hump yet...

QUESTION for all you 10 day or more fasters.... WHEN DOES THE BODY START DEEP CLEANING DURING A FAST...WHAT MORE CAN I EXPECT? THANKS in advance...on I trod
