I am a Cushing's survivor and have lived thru those stages)

What type of symptoms are your showing? Are you getting dizzy after standing, emotional swings, poor energy, feelings like your going to implode :)?

You should reference Dr. Hans Selye in particular Adelle Davis referenced him in her great book (I think her first one) on the chapter of stress. Selye put adrenals into three catagories alarm, resistance and exhaustion. If you reach the exhaustion stage you are in some trouble if it is not resolved. I hit that stage very hard and have made a recovery.

With some doubt I would suggest your doctor doesn't fully know what he is talking about (my opinion), perhaps he/she was suggesting you have hit the adrenal exhaustion stage?. Adrenals can make a full recovery with the proper nutritional protocol (see Adelle Davis' book). I followed that with the addition of adrenal glandulars which really seemed to cure the adrenal problem.

Remember that the adrenals are a vital key in biological survival. They are evoked at any sign of stress be it physical (infections, environmental toxins including heavy metals, cold, heat, loud noises) or emotional/mental.

It is important to stabilize the adrenals and then deal with the root issues causing the stress. Do you know what those are?
