The first thing that comes to mind is Magnesium.... you can read Dr. Mildred seelig's research on magnesium and stress online. Magnesium controls many biological functions, one of those is adrenal responses, it also handles neurological (anxiety,
Depression etc) also immune response.
you stated "I'm still having trouble with fatigue, lightheaded, anxiety, foggy headed, depression, intolerance to any stress whether loud noise, negativity on TV or even if I have to busy of a normal day."
If you reference Dr. Seelig, magnesium deficiency will create sensitivity to loud noises and "watching violence on tv".
How long did it take you to find some normal ground after your 3rd stage?
My case was severe, so it may or may not apply. For sometime I had stopped all my supplements (not knowing the severity of my condition) I collapsed on the floor, physically not able to move, and suffering the mother of panic attacks. I was fortunate (blessed) to have someone find Adelle Davis' book with a chapter on stress in which she outlined a protocol involving pantothenic acid, vitamin C etc.
I dumped alot of potassium which stopped the panic attacks and stopped all sodium thinking I was sodium heavy. I ended up in severe panic attacks shortly thereafter. I started on sodium and was able to stablize.
I was still quite shaky and volatile until I started using adrenal glandulars. I can't really pinpoint actual mgs.
Here are some ideas for you::
1. I would get a hair analysis done, I think traceelements.com is the place to go. This test will help identify not only nutritional imbalances but help identify the endocrinological aspects.
2. Electrolytes are controlled by adrenals, and electrolyte deficiencies will cause aggravation of the adrenals.
3. Magnesium is vital, but so is sodium and potassium.
4. Why are the adrenals overreacting? Heavy metals will create stress on the body and should be investigated. A test called a heavy metal challenge see Doctor's Data for this test can be a real help. Metals may be creating some of the problems you have. Mercury for example creates a weakening of the immune system and neurological systems. And I should state that environmental toxins will evoke adrenal response as well - see the "100 year lie".
It is quite possible that you are having some immune system reactions going on, in which the adrenals are quite involved in. For instance some of the hormones signal for higher glucose to help in a resistance type of reaction.
Does this help? If not let me know.
