Dear Kayley,
When I was first diagnosed with Psuedotumor Cerebri my spinal levels were above 400, I had gone almost completely blind and deaf in my left ear and was told for 8 months prior that the headaches were migraines. I went in to have blood tests done and was sent to an eye doctor for the blindness, it was at the eye doctor that they realized something was deffinately more serious than migraines. I was rushed to a larger hospital and given a emergency spinal tap. That helped to release the pressure in my head. I started having to take diamox which helped slightly with my pressure but did not cure it. I still have headaches all the time, and i still have to go to the hospital occasionally when my pressure goes up, I have to go every month to two months to have a spinal tap done to be able to go without the haedaches for about 2 weeks then it starts all over again. I have stopped taking the diamox because it was not doing any thing or giving me any relief. I was told after they figured out what was going on that only women who are overweight and in their child bearing years have this problem although there are the exceptions. You might want to talk to your doctor about being tested and put on Diamox and see if that helps you.Although your levels are above normal the diamox might be all that you need to help you along.
Good Luck with this and I hope you have better luck with this. I have been dealing with this problem for about 2 years, This is a horrible way to have to live believe me I know.
