Re: No testing by Jim Humble? edit

Here's something more for you and more recent from his own site
I'll leave you to figure it out.

Hi Jim, Can you help me understand the info on the following site:

http://books.google.com/books?id=WZj3khOKMaIC&pg=PA348&lpg=PA348&dq=chlorine.
Page 348 indicates that all cholorine dioxide breaks down into chlorite and chlorate when it is exposed to water or human tissues, and a multitude of health-related problems have been associated with chlorite and chlorate exposure.+dioxide+ingestion&source=web&ots=dCir8H82TM&sig=9OTDKKvLFqs657OOa-9Q6M-eGRk#PPA355,M1 How can I refute that as I try to share the virtues of Miracle-Mineral-Supplement with others?

Thanks, Bonnie, P.S. My toothache is almost completely gone. I mixed up a solution with 13 drops of Miracle-Mineral-Supplement and soaked a very small cotton rag in it - rolled up the rag and placed it between my cheek and gum for 30 minutes. That seemed to do the trick.

======

That book that you sent me to look at has poor in chemistry.

Who ever it is doesn’t understand chemistry. Chlorine dioxide has been used in water purification plants to kill pathogens without killing the good bacteria in the water for 70 years. Yes chlorine dioxide turns into chlorite and chlorate for about one hundredth of a second. It is the process it follows as it deteriorates into table salt . Chlorine dioxide does not leave chemicals in drinking water systems and it does not leave chemicals in the human body. A multitude of health-related problems have been associate with chlorine dioxide only when a few people have been exposed to 10,000 times that found in Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . Their suggestion that they found chlorite and chlorate in the water has not been substantiated in thousands of water purification plants in the world.

The tests with rats doesn’t show anything except that chlorine dioxide is not poisonous. Read this carefully. Those rats were given 100 ppm drinking water. MMS averages about 5 ppm. But it is not given to a person at that level in his drinking water. It is given to a person in one small glass once or twice during the day. If he took it in his drinking water he would take 10 times what the rats got and if it was then increased to 100 ppm instead or 5 ppm he would get more than 1000 times as much chlorine dioxide as a person taking MMS. Those rats were getting at least 1000 times what someone taking MMS is getting.

And now this quote from their book, the last paragraph of the rat testing:

“We suggest that the chlorite ion may be the active agent either directly or indirectly responsible for previously reported behavioral abnormalities following chlorine dioxide exposure. This suggestion is based on the knowledge that chlorite is the major breaddown product of metabolite of chlorine dioxide. And on our finding that indirect exposure to chlorine dioxide and chlorite results in similar behavior changes. We were not, however, able to consistently demonstrate that exposure to chlorite and chlorine dioxide results in the same thyroid effects.” (Their chemistry is incorrect, as I have already stated. No chlorite is left if the water or the body.)

They really were not able to demonstrate any real damage in any of those rats. The EPA and the FDA both have been doing their level best to prove that chlorine dioxide is dangerous. Read the EPS’s 60 page brocure. They couldn’t prove it either. If they could in some way prove it, they could withdraw it from use and America would get a lot sicker and that is what they want. But they just haven’t been able to fake the results.

Finally their statement is fraudulent. “A multitude of health-related problems have been associated with chlorite and chlorate exposure.” What health problems? What exposure to chlorite? and chlorate? Yes, in accidents in industrial plants there has been a problem in a few incidents over a100 years. They have nothing and they try to make it sound like something, and they only prove our side of the question. The rats stood 1000 times what MMS is and for like 45 days. That’s a major portion of the rat’s life. They have to result to saying “We suggest that the chlorite ion may be the active agent.“ But anyone with a half a mind can see that the rats came out OK. If they had proven that those rats couldn’t take it at 100 ppm, a level that no human ever comes in contact with, they would have taken it off the market.

As it stands at this time, they have made it almost impossible to buy, and anyone approaching any place where they sell sodium chlorite is extensively questioned and if they make one mistake and say that it will bottled or anything for human use the are not able to buy it. At this date it is almost impossible to buy sodium chlorite to make MMS. You may not have noticed, but the more freedom that they government takes away from the people, the harder it is for the people to survive.

Key words: Official tests, rats, rat tests, EPA, FDA, poison testing, toxicity, health related, health related problems, chlorate
