for joint and hip pain.. you might want to check out Glucosamine Chondroitin.. I recc for my patients and within a month the pain is gone.
My mother now swears by it herself and she had hip issues because she had a mini stroke and had muscle dystrophy which threw off her alignment and we've been working on that with acupuncture.
I take it too because I have a bad knee from yrs of martial arts and running, and I don't want to be in my 40's and have issues.
Stretching helps too because if you're muscles are tight it can pull at certain tendons and ligaments on your joints and basically throw off everything from the ground up. ie hip pain back pain etc.
