I have completely let my diet go to sh** and i am so frustrated right now I can't even get in the right frame of mind to tackle anything.
I know that fasting will help to regulate the chemicals in my brain, as it has before, but honestly... I am just really lost right now.
I'm going to try, but its so hard.
When I have had times that it feels like I am getting hit by all angles, I do my best to step away from the situation and think "what is it that I am needing to learn here?" Sometimes it's a situation that keep recurring and those are the critical ones that the lesson keeps being forced upon you again and again. Usually you know in your heart what needs to be done - often the hard part is following through.
In terms of actions / thoughts / words causing problems, do whatever you can to journal those out. Get a ballpoint pen and use it as a weapon - press as hard as you need to as you get the words out. To hell with penmanship...just vent. And then burn the pages.
Fasting comes into play because it helps you to stay in control. You are in control of what goes into your mouth. And by eliminating those toxins, you allow your emotions and spirit to stay calm.
Do whatever you can to focus on your ultimate goal. Don't think about the steps between where you are now and where you want to be. Just KNOW that you ARE achieving your goal and that God / Higher Spirit will take care of the details. Fasting allows you to stay calm, grounded and focused at times like this.
