A post was made suggesting an ulterior motive by obama because the human element was entirely missing. IF SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOU IS DYING YOU LEAVE IMMEDIATELY OR AS SOON AS YOU CAN. To wait three days and go on national television and go through a hand wringing exercise and make a show about it DOES NOT RING TRUE.

SO HERE IS THE RESPONSE-the above post is met with "you are disgusting" "to hell with you" you are "subhuman a**holes" and "depraved" "you are scum".

Hmmmm. Now is that a restrained and intelligent reaction?

Here is the question. Who are the ones venting instead of debating? Who comes to shout down debate instead of rational discourse? Who are the ones stating their position, standing up for it logically, and supporting their view without name calling?

Remember, this is a debate forum. It's about rational discourse and discussion of different points of view. It is not advised for those with thin skins. It's about defining ideologies and expressing viewpoints and even finding common ground where possible.
