Who cares about the NY Times? They were one of the biggest boosters of the Iraq war. Their former reporter,
Judith Miller (who now works for Fox News, lol) wrote stories about Sadaam's supposed WMD capabilities that were fed to her by Ahmad Chalabi, and other allies of the neocons, that turned out to be totally FALSE. They helped sell the war to the American people. They sucked up to Bush and his cronies, and were revealed as the sycophants that they were, once the truth about Iraq and the neocons came dribbling out on the internet and other news sources. So who cares? Whoever lies down with dogs (and neocons) should expect to get fleas.
