I've read that taking out a gallbladder doesn't eliminate symptoms 100% of the time. If you have a competent doctor, he has explored all other avenues as to what your problem is. So, with Gallstones left as your problem, you should do a liver cleanse. You are obviously traumatized by this whole experience, but I assure you from what I've read on this forum that you are perfectly normal.

Your doctor wasn't trying to deceive you I don't believe. I think they are schooled a certain way and they believe in it as the only way. He thought he was helping you by ridding you of gallstones. What he didn't say was that you could still have stones in the ducts or liver after the gallbladder removal. Don't go for another surgery to explore your ducts until you try a liver cleanse. I'm sorry for the loss of your gallbladder at such a young age. It will be OK though. Just read and learn all you can to empower yourself now. You aren't a helpless victim anymore now that you've found this site. Happy flushing!
