Hi, my mom had her gall bladder removed earlier this year. Afterward, she still had pain and digestive problems and had to drink some stuff that she called "her glue" (I think it made her stool solid instead of loose, but I'm not really sure. It was called chole--something). Anyway, several months after the surgery, the pain started getting worse and then one weekend it got so bad that she was admitted to the hospital. The docs ran all kinds of tests that told them nothing. She stayed in the hospital for 3 days. When she got out, she was on a very low fat diet and no alcohol. (Previously, she had a few drinks every day.)Now, she says that she has never felt better. She doesn't even need her "glue" anymore. She attributes it to low fat diet and no alcohol. So, maybe if you make some dietary changes you will feel better.
