Re: diet for non-Hodgkin lymphoma
It is far from universally accepted among natural and alternative cancer advocates that carrot juice is harmful for those who have cancer. In fact, carrot juice is a major part of many successful cancer fighting protocls. For example, Doctor Lorraine Day specifically recommend carrot juice for fighting cancer.
Studies which suggest carrots are ineffective or even harmful have invariably been proven to be flawed mainstream studies which used synthetics or unnatural isolates of one or two compounds instead of fresh raw carrots and carrot juice.
Carrots are a vegetable that has a high sugar content and in general a cancer fighting diet should consist of a large majority of raw vegetables with a lower sugar content and a lesser amount of healthy fruits and vegetables which are higher in sugar. If you drink a lot of carrot juice, it would likely be a good idea to consume a bit less fruits and vegetables which are higher in sugar content.
The Budwig Diet is an excellent one for fighting cancer and mo123 certainly has some great recipes and good advice when it comes to Budwig. I personally would recommend that you not rely on diet alone though - to have the best success at beating cancer, one must adopt an entire anti-cancer lifestyle that involves mental attitude, proper diet, cleansing and detoxing, and proper supplementation with strong and moderate cancer fighters, as well as supporting vitamins and minerals.
