I was trying to say that the calcium/magnesium ratio matters and that's why I buy them and take 1000mg of calcium to 500mg of magnesium. By taking epsom salt with every meal how do you know if you are not taking more magnesium than the calcium in the alkalizing drink? You don't but I know that I take the right ratio with store bought calcium and magnesium. This is a sound way of doing it as opposed to just taking some epsom salt with every meal without knowing what calcium/magnesium ratio you are taking. I wouldn't know how many mg of calcium are in one tablespoon of lime water and how many mg of magnesium in a pinch of epsom salts. Isn't the ratio supposed to be 2:1?
