Q:Is Bilirubin itself a toxic?

A: It seems logical to me that its not healthy when theres a higher level in the blood because surely it would congest its flow leading to a worsening of circulation in itself. It's a bit like too much calcium being deposited into the joints, leading to Arthritis etc. I'm sure I read somewhere also that its toxic but can't remember where.

Heres an interesting point. I studied palmistry for a while and people with yellowing skin (jaundiced), ie myself included, are considered 'bilious' and chronically unhealthy. Some darker black and white palmistry, such as from cheiro suggest 2 types of people that tend mostly to be criminals are the mercurians and saturnians and saturnians have more yellow skin from their biliousness, most likely from gilberts or some kind of liver problem. I can seen how my father, who is quite angry and critical of life could be deemed a saturnian and most inclined to be a criminal because of not being happy with life as it is. There are too many variables to take into account though and this kind of palmistry labels people and is innaccurate as it doesn't account for the many sides of a person. A good palmist will read many factors and point towards indications, but never read it black and white like this.
