Re: epsom salt not needed on liver flush?
Hi Netav, that was me posting on another forum about the not needing/using
Epsom Salts for the liver cleanse. I had tried the liver cleanse a few weeks ago and got a raging headache after I took the first two epsom/water drinks prior to the olive oil/grapefruit drink. I stopped the cleanse, threw up and had diarrea. So! I'm a little afraid of the
Epsom Salts , to say the least! That made me look into the possibility of not having to use the
Epsom Salts . I searched around this site and found quite a few people who didn't use them. Here's one:

Last night I did my very first liver cleanse ever (on Day8 of the
Master-Cleanse with
Bentonite and psyllium) and had a cup of AJ at 9pm, a cup of AJ with 3/4 tsp epsom at 11pm and then drank down the quite yummy (I found!) olive oil/fresh pink grapefruit drink at 1am. I slept soundly until 6:30am. At 10am I drank another cup of AJ with 3/4 tsp of epsom salts. I have had two eliminations. The first was the usual mucoid ropes. The second was, surprise, surprise!, very strange marbled green/black stuff AND a bunch of rusty coloured floating stones!! yay! My biggest was 8mm around. I cut some open and they were a jewel-green gel. hmmmm! So, there you go! I only took, in total 1 1/2 tsp of epsom salts, still passed stones, and didn't get diarrea.
Another reason why I felt I could cut back on the epsom salts was that I had read somewhere on the site that the epsom salts give relief to people with pain in their liver and gallbladder, because it relaxes the region...but I don't have pain there.
I hope this wee story helps you to decide the best tack for you!
