Re: Flaxseeds, cooked or raw?

Many oils are toxic and should not be used. As I have stated many times you need to have a local cold press agent to purchase your oils or to use the seeds. Yes it is possible some sources are toxic as is seeds of pumpkin etc. Peanuts toxic, carrots toxic, potatoes toxic but do you stop eating them. Why they are toxic because the seed was toxic and especially all forms of corn.

NEVER,NEVER, NEVER, COOK WITH FLAX SEEDS. NEVER EAT ANYTHING WITH FLAX AS AN INGREDIENT. NEVER INJEST FLAX CAPSULES.

cooking does make the flax seed toxic. I have used ground flax seeds for ever and I have never had a problem but I look for a good source such as Bob's Red Mill. Seeds should be ground fresh and eaten within 10 minutes, do not store in frig. Per Budwig.

Taking care of your body, improving your sense of logic will give you years of benefit from the great flax seed diet.
