Re: EM and SBO's
I agree about gardening without gloves to get soil micro organisms...and a number of other ways to come into contact with soil.
But, there are also several doubts we have accepted, only one of them being that the soil may be contaminated with chemicals that we are uncertain of.
By the same token, we, ourselves, have been exposed to the same chemicals, and have overcome them, in a sense.
We continue to breathe...and have expectations of doing so for some years ahead.
We could 'split hairs' on this until Kingdom Come...arguing point after point, detail after detail.
However, some people have developed confidence in intuitive and energetic methods of deciding the suitability of substances for personal experimentation. Others simply reason, for example, that if a garden has been kept for thirty-five years by a person who did not use chemicals, then quite likely that soil is safe.
Still others feel they have ways of projecting healing/cleansing/blessing onto the soil, or any substance, at hand.
Taking vegetables straight from the garden, especially if those vegetables have been grown among the weeds and grasses that also protect soil micro organisms, brushing off any grit, and eating the vegetable then and there, is another way to gain confidence in the safety of the soil.
The individual is free to choose. Children do, too.
The longer people have lived on a piece of property, without any apparent harm...the more likely they are to trust the soil there. Besides, they may have seen with their own eyes what contaminents may be where.
As for any
parasites that may be picked up, their eggs are microscopic and may come to us in any way at any time, even though the air. Our immune systems are dealing with them every day, and we may take a
parasite cleanse two or three times per year to prevent any
parasite from gaining a foothold.
