In what way are you changing your diet? Juice fasting? Raw diets?
Personally, I've found juice fasting to be of immense help. After several 3-5 day fasts, I challenged myself to a 30-day juice fast and it was amazing. Days 4 & 5 found me lethargic, but the rest of the month I had high energy, great concentration, I easily went to sleep which was restful and I actually needed less sleep. Further, I dropped 32 pounds.
I think the most lasting experience of the juice fasting was the emotional/spiritual detox that happens around the 21 day mark.
These juice fasts made it easier for me to successfully water fast.
