Re: Please help! any advice?

Hello youngsoul,

I am glad that you've come to the right place to get help on halitosis, or fbb.  Have you gone to the dentist yet to see if your teeth and gums are healthy?  If so, then you might consider other sources of fbb so that you can best determine the best management protocol for it.  Is your odor coming only from your breath or from other parts of your body as well?

I recommend that you read some of the articles I've posted in my blog on halitosis, http://mpdela.blogspot.com/search/label/halitosis.  I hope they do help you.  I'm certain that you will still have many questions after reading all this information, so please do feel free to ask them in this forum.  I'll be looking for them, as I know others here will also be around to guide you along as well.

It is important that you control this odor so that you can enjoy your life and continue with your studies.  Your family is probably concerned about your depression and might find it more important to help you not focus on your breath as much as just living your life to its fullest.  Or, perhaps, they might not smell your odor.  In either case, you do well trying to find solutions to your odor, and management protocols to help you reduce or eliminate your odor so that you may find it a pleasant experience to stay in school.

Wishing you the very best,

María
