Motivation is slipping...weight gain....Smart Water
Dear Group,
Reading your messages on a daily basis has helped me keep my motivation up for this fast. Let me preface this message by saying I am fasting to cleanse my system and I expect to lose a lot of weight as well. I'm not doing it solely for one reason or another but a combination of mental, spiritual and physical.
I just suffered a major setback, at least in my mind. I weighed myself before going to sleep for a 4 hour catnap at 246.5. Upon waking, I weighed myself again and found I had shot up to 250.5. In this time I did not eat or drink, just watched a little TV and then slept. Is this normal? I have also noticed weight gain while sleeping pre-fast. I hope that someone out there can give me some help, as I do not want to stop this now.
As an aside, my energy levels are extremely low. It has been very tough for me as I work 12-20 hour days each day. I am starting to feel physically weak, and even flexing is hurting. I'm considering going on some Smart Water as I hear that can help when fasting. What does the group think?
