Re: Natural way to get rid of Silverfish?

Cucumber peelings - Use a knife (not a potato peeler) so you make the "strips" of peeling a little thicker. Then put 2 or more strips in each cabinet section, or on closet floors. In a basement you can lay a strip every couple of feet. Once the strips dry up, replace them if you still have the bugs.

Silverfish are said to hate cinnamon, so that might also be an alternative.

If you can find any Costmary (also known as Bible Leaf) you can place sprigs around the room and house to get rid of silverfish.

Other suggestions would be diatomacous earth and organic pesticides.

Be careful of which plants you have near your home. Hollyhocks and "bridal wreath" are major attractions for silverfish.

I also suggest storing your food items such as meal, beans, grains, etc., in airtight containers.
