You're forgetting the hand. Swelling in random parts of the body can be an allergic reaction. If the reaction happens to strike in the throat area next, a person can be dead in moments. Preventive medicine of the ordinary variety can deal with that effectively. I am living proof.
NOT everyone who comes to this list has wrtitten off Western medicine as a total loss. Some people come to this list out of curiousity and a genuine interest in curing what ails them without any preconceptions
at all about what the cure might be. An open-mindedness that is willing to listen to different viewpoints strikes me as the only reasonable approach to matters of health. Dogma is dogma, and dogma can be dangerous.
