Re: If memory serves
I have not given up my right to vote but if I did not choose to use my right to vote in an election that has been rigged and engineered as a dog and pony show to fool the sheeple into believing they really did have a free and democratic election process, what exactly would I be losing?
Some might say that the losers are those who spend so much time and energy on such a superficial cause that they could better use in educating people about what has really happened to their liberties and government. Seems like I remember a guy who once did that here on this forum. Was he not too serious then and serious now or vice versa and just like to bash liberals and argue for the heck of it?
I mean, he still liked to put the label and put-downs on his opponents (personally I think he was infected with the Corinthian rabies from all the times they bit one another), but at least he chose some worthwhile causes to spend his energy on.
Just so I don't LOSE too much, I will vote. But it won't be for McInsane or ObamaNation. In a contrived race, a vote of protest could actually have more meaning that a vote for the spoonfed candidates we have been duped into choosing between.
Deep down, I know you agree - but you are too honery of an ol' cur to admit it.
Be careful over there on the Evo debate forum. AC is liable to set you straight.
