Bleeding bum... Hemorrhoids?

I've just been to a doctor who referred me to a colonoscopy in a few days due to slight bleeding from my bum. While I believe it's a case of nothing more serious than internal hemorrhoids, I highly doubt I will be offered any kind of a natural solution to fix the problem. I will absolutely not accept the option of surgery or man-made chemical drugs unless the situation is very bad.

What do you guys suggest? Aloe vera juice, ginger, juice fasting, something else?
I'm a raw foodist, and know I should be exercising heaps more. At work I need to sit on my bum all day.
