"But I need protein..."
I have a hunch, from being in the disability community, that practically everybody who was diagnosed with a dystrophy and somehow finds this program will freeze up when they find out they have to juice fast for 30 to 60 days. They will say, "But I have to have my protein. Everybody from the first grade up knows that protein builds muscles." Of course this is true. However comma, that protein need does not mean a free ride on the gravy train eating Whataburger double meat bacon cheeseburgers with a large vanilla milkshake to wash it down with.
What we do at the Incurables Party is spend a month or two getting the most optimum nutrition in to our bodies as fast as humanly possible via fresh juices. We are adding quite a bit of protein by weight in the Superfoods. We are also pulling toxins out of the body just as fast as humanly possible "at the other end." We have to have a clean body to work with, and this takes time and a lot of effort.
I have no idea how much time it will take for MY body to be cleaned out. I am assuming 60 days of a juice and herbal drink program, and then possibly even a lifetime of raw vegan foods. Or maybe I will be raw vegan for a year and then move to the Christopher mucusless diet (80/20 Hallelujah diet). One thing is for sure, I will be a vegetarian- a healthy one- for life. But when I get to that point (glory!! lol), I will be adding gorgeous super food nutrition chock full of protein and fats like avocadoes, nut butters, and coconuts. You may not like these foods now, but from personal experience, your taste buds are going to do the victory dance at the end of the juice program and will come alive!
We'll get our protein. We'll get the most fabulous protein on the planet. But first, we need to get to the point where our bodies can actually grab and hold on to the protein we give it, and put it in the muscle tissues that most need it.
Break up with Wendy, Ronald, Jack, or Papa John. Say goodbye to Mrs. Buttersworth, Aunt Jemima, and Mr. Coffee. They were unhealthy relationships anyway, honey. You deserve better. Move on.
