from the replies dandruff is mentioned the most.
dandruff is caused by a fungus called P.ovale, that feeds off sebum. I've read it can inhabit the skin and because of this, the skin shed's off layers wherever the fungus is to rid itself of it.

Has anyone tried an anti-dandruff shampoo on lips and what was the effect? I only got ordinary shampoo in my house or i would try it now.
