Re: Benefits of Wheatgrass Juice

Great Point!

The chlorophyll you buy has copper in the middle. It is actually called chlorophyllin. It is thought to have lower toxicity than true chlorophyll, better stomach tolerance.

On my "Proof of Effectiveness" page on my website I have published some findings specifically on chlorophyllin.

Chlorophyllin actually is hemoglobin for all invertebrate sea creatures, including octopus, squid, clams, muscles, shrimp, etc.

The copper in the middle of chlorophyll is thought to be more biochemically active.

Copper is known to retard viral, bacterial growth. Copper also is an alkaline metal which can raise internal ph of cancer cells once the chlorophyll molecule breaks down.

In terms of what it does as apposed to magnesium based chlorophyll is subject to interpretation. It is aeromatic, it does absorb energy like heat and U.V. light.
It does all the CO2 and O2 things that hemoglobin does only it is not dependent upon CO2 to produce oxygen.

There is argument if chlorphyll can perform the Calvin cycle, a process which eats CO2 but does not produce O2. There is no evidence chlorophyllin can't perform Calvin cycle.

I do know this.

It's detox properties are the same. It does absorb U.V. light and if you don't believe me, Drink two table spoons for a couple of days, and then spend two hours in the sun. See if your skin burns less! See if you tan better.
