Well it depends on the way you want to think of EC...

Skin sheds every 2 - 4 weeks

EC can either be:
1 - skin cells growing so fast that the lips cant exfoliate at the rate they are growing.

2- skin cells dies too fast so the lips cant exfoliate them at the rate they are dying.

My guess is number 2...

I think dead skin usually falls of by itself...but the skin probably follows a certain routine where it produces skin that dies and reproduces every month....

Our lips just die so quickly so the skin cant be shed.

Protopic just leaves the lips with thin layers of dead skin, so the skin doesnt really GROW it just dies and peels...protopic supresses inflammation so im wondering how it slows the skin from dying....

I was researching about the actual material of the lips from my last post, because i think something could be lacking.
