Avoid arugala!!! That stuff grow like a weed and tastes nasty. I grew all of my veggies from seeds, started them inside. I wanted a few leafy plants for salad and mistakenly got arugala, yuck! I had to rip it out because it was taking over.

I would make the kids taste the leaves just to watch their faces go sour, hahaha.

Be sure to fence the garden well otherwise critters will get the veggies. I got the chicken wire 2 ft high, it's the cheapest, but you need the thick heavy posts to hold it up. I had no trouble with critters.
