The point I'm making is that just because something appears highly toxic doesnt mean it is going to be at the amount you use of it
Iodine is essential and is a strong oxidizer yet the body can use it and benefits from it's use in a lot of ways
ClO2 is not essential but is is an oxidizer and a selective one and the body can protect itself. Pathogens however are unable to do so
Iodine is very useful and can help a lot of problems but ClO2 I believe can be
more effective and has it's unique uses but why use one weapon against pathogens when you can use two more effectively.
I only use Iodine at a safe supplemental dose and I believe ClO2 is more effective in a shorter time at a safe dose but I'm only talking about killing pathogens here.
I'm not saying I'm 100% right as people do use Iodine at higher doses and may get a lot more benefit from it than I am aware
