Re: Legal recourse for knowingly infecting someone?

Wow....thank you so much for the very informative and well thought out message. I really appreciate your help. I have contacted a lawyer and he's drafted a demand letter which will go out next week. Interestingly, the man that infected me is a lawyer. It would be nice to get compensated but more importantly, I don't want him to think he can get away with it and continue doing the same thing to other women. He cannot be alone and I think he may already have someone else. I found out he cheated on me when I was out of town. He doesn't care about anyone but himself and is a lier and manipulator.

I think he will be worried about standing up in court with a judge or others that he plays golf with and may settle, but I really have a hard time with the idea of just letting it go and letting him get away with hurting and using me.

You are a very strong person and I admire how you have found strength in your situation. My circumstance has definitely brought me closer to the higher being and I'm grateful for that.
