I also have lyme disease. My whole family has it. My husband and 3 sons. I was not pregnant when I got it. We lived in and endemic area. I have had it for 7 years. I have tried many many things. I took Antibiotics oral and I had a picc line inserted for 6 months. My Arthritis became unbearable and the muscle pain as well. I wanted to die from the non-stop pain. Not to mention all of the other "goodies" that come with the package such as heart palpitations and mental problems such as thinking, word finding, forgetting what you were saying in mid-sentence,etc. I have been getting better, a lot better. One thing I know about are herx-heimer reactions. That is when you get worse before you get better and these reactions are hard and can last for up to a month. I am taking cats claw. I just started it and I feel so much better I can't believe it. I am going to do it because of two reasons. One, I've done a lot of research and I believe it works. Secondly, I'm a christian and there's a part in the bible that says "drink from thine own cystern. " I'm going to do that and I expect a major die off effect. I expect to get worse before I get better, just like when I started Antibiotics . God is good. I used to think, what a curse it is to get sick with this disease and especially if you are poor! What would I do if I couldn't afford all of this junk I take? I really believe God makes things simple. He made salvation simple and I believe he made cures simpler than we believe.
