Re: Feline 'replumbing'
The older vet encouraged surgery saying it was simply cutting off the tip of the penis, done all the time with no problems.
The younger vet said there are numerous problems and it's radical surgery where they literally cut the whole penis off, making him prone to UTI's and other problems with leaking and bleeding and may take a long time to recover from, if at all.
You in all your doctor-speak call it "Resecting the opening". Why don't you say you're "cutting his penis off" to your clients?
I can't count how many times I've heard euphemisms like that form doctors... and lost my gall bladder, my skin from laser surgery that "evaporates pigment"; almost lost my life, and my son's ability to hear by some idiot who scraped out his inner ear and now he's deaf in that ear. I can't remember all their double-speak now afer working 16 hours to pay for my beloved kitty, but you spew it all I'm sure.
Wake up before it's too late and you have huge Karma to pay.
