Re: Has anyone had an IV of phosphatidylcholine with butyrate or glutathione?

yes, the IVs were fine, but the injection caused anaphylaxis and then cross-sensitized me apparently to other/all sulfurs. I talked to Dr. Rae of the Environmental Health Center in Dallas, and he said the body reacts differently to substances given in IVs than to injected IM. Some people are fine with glutathione IM injections, however, and get benefit from it. I had never heard of this kind of reaction from it, and so thought I would try it since it was easier, more cost effective, etc. But it's really like russian roulette, imo, since it was only a single shot that did it to me.

I haven't had phosphatidylcholine IV, but I might be less wary of that unless you have known liver problems. The question is why you are doing it -- is it necessary, is it just something you want to try for some vague reason, does the doctor you are working with know what he/she is doing and do they have a logical rationale for wanting to do this kind of therapy, etc. It's really not a good idea to gamble with your health in these kinds of extreme ways unless you are pretty sure of what you're doing -- again, IMHO! so just try to be smart I always say. good luck.
