Re: Cholesterol and Vitamin C
My resting pulse rate is 48 beats per minute, and my resting blood pressure is 122/81, which is supposed to be near the ideal; on that basis why would I need to measure my cholesterol levels?
"Ideal" by whose definition - certainly you wouldn't listen too the anti-cholesterol advocates.
We hear it's 120/80, some have suggested much lower numbers. And those numbers have nothing to do with other. I suppose from your position you might be concerned if you found out your numbers were too low - could happen. Just for the sake of this discussion, IF you found your cholesterol was around 300, then I guess you would very pleased with that number.
BTW, I check my BP constantly on the low end it's below 1-teens/70's, pulse 50's... on the high end 140's/90's, pulse 80's. I can get a lot of variation in the course of a day.
