I feel for you, but it can be done. You can see that it's not so simple as supplementing iodine, whatever form...it's a lot more complicated than that.
There is no protocol in place utilizing Iodine to "chelate" mercury from a child that I know of. And I wouldn't trust anyone that claimed that it was so easy as Iodine supplementation.
I would suggest e-mailing Pattiecake, it's enabled on her posts. Perhaps she could give you a more detailed...step 1, step 2, etc...
And check out those links she provided as well:) Surely there are lots of tips on the other boards, and suggestions for docs.
