Thanks to you both (sorry this had to lead to some bickering!). I see I am at the beginning of yet another journey and have a lot lot more reading to do. This is such a scary endeavor - it is one thing to try things on myself, but to risk any more harm to my son, well, you know. I checked those posts you provided, wombat, and those were really helpful and gave me some more direction (and inspiration). I just wish that there was someone you could go to, a "doctor" of some sort that really had all the "right" information, and answers. Why is all this so hard?
