Anetoderma OOPS did not mean to cross post to SAD

http://www.emedicine.com/derm/topic22.htm

I have this skin disorder, supposed to be incurable, it appears to be healing with Iodine and companion nutrients, and sun.

I just found that it may be caused by borrelia in this document. That is apparently regarding European cases, but I did spend some time in Western Europe and the UK.

I have never been bitten by a tick; but fleas, yes.

Does anyone have this skin problem? The big lesions seem very stubborn. There were hundereds across my back at one time but now just a few and they are not bright white anymore, they are definitely disappearing slowly.

Thanks, any info is appereciated.

Frequency
United States
The exact incidence of anetoderma is not known, but secondary anetoderma is probably more common than the primary form. Familial anetoderma is uncommon, with only 7 families reported in the literature.2, 3, 4 Inheritance may be autosomal dominant, autosomal recessive, or undefined in pattern.

International
Secondary anetoderma seems to be more frequent in Central Europe than in North America, paralleling the incidence of chronic atrophic acrodermatitis. This suggests that Borrelia species may be involved.
