Well, maybe you can make your own contact solution -- I wouldn't mind doing that, myself.
But Hulda's recipe you posted is just a simple saline solution. Contact lense solutions also need something in there to cleanse the lense from deposits, make sure it's sterile each time you put them in your eye, and may contain other electrolytes or moisturizers, etc. Tweet
