I am relatively new to UT as well. I have been about a week and a half or so. I am doing it primarily for my endometriosis, as nothing else has worked and I refuse to do the Lupron route. I also have type 1 diabetes with complications. I have to say that there has been a big difference in the way that I feel in just this short time with UT. I am hoping to get off of my birth control as soon as I can, as I have been on it for 15 years. My cramping is definitely less and my eyesight has significantly improved.
I still hate the taste..truly. I take about 2 oz. every morning of the fresh stuff and follow with mouthwash (thanks Chaz!) I am not up to Wiz with the hats yet, but aspire to be there one day! :-) It does take a bit of "counting to 20 and then I am drinking" before each time.
My detox symptoms are not so bad, except that initially I felt a surge of energy and now I am tired much of the time. Maybe it has to do with the hot, humid weather?? Anyway, I am going to continue as I don't see any negative effects yet. I have a bunch of open sores on my scalp that I have had for almost 2 years now, and have been on everything under the sun to try and clear them. I finally started collecting about a teaspoon of my morning urine and then right before bed, I dab it on my head and then put it up in a rubberband. My husband has no idea what I am doing except last night my batch must have been a little "ripe" because he asked if our kids peed on our bed by accident. LOL So, tonight I think I will add a drop of lemon essential oil to help the smell. Oh, if my friends could see me now... Hang in there and I would certainly keep up the regimen while away.
