I go to our park with a creek to walk my dog in our gated community. I often meet this (married)lady,about 66, who also brings her dog here.

Last week I met her and she had a black eye. She told me some kids with a sling shot had fired a rock at a rabbit (very few rabbits are in the park because of the dogs) and hit her in the eye the day before. She said they had also hit a blue heron and broke its wing. She said she called the police and they arrested the boys, age 13 or 14, and the dept of fish and game came and took the heron to a vet. She said the boys had been shooting at some birds a year before and were banned from our community and she said the police told their grandmother who lives here will be evicted now.

The next day I called our security,the county police, and fish and game. No one knew anything about the incident. A couple of people in the park said this lady had told someone about the incident but none of them had seen any police or fish and game. They did say they saw some kids the next day.

when I asked this lady to show me the police report she said she had mailed it to her attorney.

The next day she got mad and attacked me verbally when I met her in the park.

So is this a Conspiracy or is she lying? If so why?
