Re: My Mirena nightmare... (update: photos)

As requested, here are a few of the pictures of my punctured uterus due to a Mirena IUD. PLEASE do not look at these pictures if you are sensitive. They are surgery photos and you can clearly see the 'arms' of the Mirena IUD sticking all the way out of my uterus on both sides.

The yellow 'mucous' you see in the photos had to be surgically removed by my doctor. My body was attempting to protect my other organs from being damaged so it created this 'mucous' in an attempt to protect me.
