Probably she is talking about German Electro-Acupuncture by Voll in which they use an elctro meridian testing device that measures elctrical resistance at certain points on the fingers and toes this can tell the practitioner about inbalance in the meridian. also the machine then tests various remedies that would effect change in the inbalance, the machine may also be able to treat via RF frequencies directly into the meridian.
One of my teachers used this method extensively on his patients with excellent results.
