Re: QE, your thinking is sad and frightening
Agreed!
Churchill was quoted as saying that an average person might accidentally trip over the truth now and then, but will get up, dust them self off and continue on as though nothing happened. Many wise quotes were attributed to Churchill. I can only guess at how he ended up coming to utter them. Two possibilities seem likely: these wise words attribute to him during the time before he went over to the other side, before he became one of the very people his wise words often targeted in attempting to awaken and alert the common person; or, maybe these wise words came during relatively rare, momentary lapses of honesty.
I agree with all you said. On the one hand, there is always the temptation to want to retreat into somewhere or some thing in hopes that it all will go away. On the other hand is the stark reality that THAT kind of wants, repeated one by one many hundreds of millions of times over the years, is a large part of how we came to this state. This state is no longer one with reasonable chance of correcting simply IF people by and large figure out a way to wake up to their state. It is now way beyond people just waking up to their state. After all, awakening was never the solution, it was only the necessary first step. There has been too much lost time and too much background to be made up for that isn't made up for simply because people decide to wake up.... not to mention that, still, to this date, there does not seem to be much in they way of reason to believe that people ARE waking up. People with the means, which is to say, people with access to store-bought freedom, are certainly free to run, if that is what they deem best for themselves. Like you say, there really is no place to run, but people with said means won't know that until after they buy there way there and get there. Just to repeat advice I recently heard that I found is about as good as advice can be at this point in time; whatever you do, do what is necessary to get your spiritual house in order. Undoubtedly this is not the kind of advice for everyone, but for those open to this kind of advice, if not already in order, now is a good time to get your spiritual house in order. Besides, for a while now, just about everything else is secular, temporal, subordinate and, by the way, generally beyond average people to influence/control as needed.
